Sumida Nihongo Volunteer 21 is a volunteer Japanese language study group based out of the Sumida Volunteer Center. Our group provides a variety of language classes such as a Kanji class on Monday, and general classes on Wednesday morning and evening. Private lessons are also available. |
| There are times when we are asked difficult questions about Japanese language and life in Japan that we cannot answer, but Sumida Nihongo Volunteers strive to be known as a group that works as a team. Our motto is "Study Together." In some classes there are opportunities for field trips, seasonal events, and Japanese flower arrangement instruction. |
| We have active relations with Sumida-Ku cross-cultural events and activities hosted by other volunteer groups. Sumida Nihongo Volunteer 21's goal is to improve mutual understanding and friendship through international exchange and to develop a better community. |
